Cambridge Christian School exemplifies a highly energized community committed to fulfilling our goals. This is accomplished with teachers who have a real desire to continue their own education and to communicate that lifelong desire to their students.

Our teachers strive to build relationships with their students, modeling a true love for Christ because it is in that relationship that true education happens.

I trust that as you acquaint yourself with the Cambridge Christian School you will consider becoming a part of this exciting partnership in educating your child. Together, we can fulfill the Lord’s mandate set before us in Matthew 5:14-16

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

The Cambridge Christian School’s chief end is to glorify God by achieving excellence in academics while developing students’ moral and spiritual character in partnership with their parents. Objectives are met by rigorously following biblical standards for excellence in personal relationships at all levels.

A City on a Hill Cannot Be Hidden

The light of Christ shines into the community each day through the activities of Cambridge Christian School's talented and diverse students. Cambridge Christian School students shine within Tampa and beyond, participating in athletic teams, excelling in choir and band programs recognized at the state level as superior and showing their work at the city’s most prestigious art shows.

Students who wish to participate in academic activities outside the classroom may choose from Odyssey of the Mind, National Forensics League, Student Government and the National Honor Societies. Student journalists publish the Cambridge Christian School newspaper, yearbook and an annually published literary magazine. Elementary reporters write, direct and execute a daily-televised morning show. Outside of their school activities, Cambridge Christian School students represent the school through Boys' State, the Presidential Classroom, National Leadership Forums in Law and Medicine, overseas programs and the Duke Talent Identification Program.

The Fine Arts program is also rich with activities designed to let the Lord's light shine. Each year the spring musical boasts Broadway-inspired set preparation, choreography, and costuming as well as incredible orchestral and vocal performances. The high school choir is involved in philanthropic endeavors as well, traveling annually to various Caribbean locations, combining singing with mission outreach. An annual student talent show showcases student achievement in a multitude of disciplines. The band program affords student musicians with opportunities to play in state competitions, chapel and school assemblies.

Activities abound for students wishing to develop spiritually. Student-led Bible studies, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and community service programs exist at every level. Weekly chapel services encourage student participation and leadership. Each day students grow spiritually through the development of a relationship with teachers who model the love of Christ.

Every day Cambridge Christian School students, through their activities both in and outside the classroom, take heed to our Lord's command “...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Amy Ryan, International Trade Analyst, Department of Commerce: "I think that my time at (Cambridge Christian) helped me to understand and use the basic skills necessary for good decision making in all aspects of my life. My most memorable moment at Cambridge Christian was...not just one event. It was being a part of the choral program for all four years of high school. Mrs. Taylor not only challenged us musically by encouraging our involvement in competitions and musicals, but also spiritually. All that I learned from her continues to be a part of who I am today."
