The development of individual interests and talents remains an integral part of the Elementary Program. Students are offered a wide array of extracurricular activities and are also encouraged to participate in community service activities, as each homeroom carries out a service project every year. Through these activities, students are gaining self-esteem, learning to interact with others, assuming leadership roles, and developing and modeling Christian character traits.
The Preschool Program (PS-PK) carefully blends a mixture of active and passive, group, and individual activities, and there are many opportunities for social interaction among the children and with adults. Instruction and learning take place through units of study, each of which is taught for one to three weeks, and program objectives are incorporated into each unit. The Preschool Program is sensitive to the fact that play is often the preschooler's work. A love for learning and for school is carefully nurtured in the Preschool Program. Our PK and Kindergarten students have the opportunity to participate in our after school activities with the Karate program.
Our early elementary grades (First - Second Grade) offer the options of participation in several of our clubs listed below and are beginning to develop the talents God has given them.
The Intermediate Department (Third – Sixth Grade) curriculum offers a wide variety of special activities for students in grades 3-6 in an effort to develop individual talents, skills, and interests as well as enjoyable experiences within the school setting.
