At Cambridge Christian, it is the giving of gifts for a heritage of changed lives.
Advancement office coordinates appeal for donations towards the Annual Fund and Capital Campaigns.
- Annual Fund -- primary source of fundraising dollars for the school and, like in most private schools, helps cover costs that tuition alone does not.
- Capital Campaigns -- funds for a particular project, i.e. building a new addition, renovation, etc.
May I Have A Say In Where My Money Goes?
Part of the joy of giving is seeing the fruits of your generosity. We will always honor your request to give to a particular area of interest in the school. However, most of our donors choose to give generally to the Annual Fund because monies there will go directly to the school’s primary area of need at a given time.
What Size Donations Make a Difference?
Sometimes, a donor will ask this and the answer is no size it too small or too big! We are grateful for each and every dollar that is donated. You will be receiving flyers throughout the year giving everyone (parents, grandparents, alumni) an opportunity to contribute to the Annual Fund. We encourage everyone to give, but it is your prayerful decision about how much.
You will make a difference in a child’s life by your decision to give.
What Fundraising Events Are There?
- Our first fundraising event is the Courageous Movie held on October 1st at 3 p.m., at the AMC Veterans Theatre in Tampa. This is a PG-13 Christian movie that follows the lives of several dads, encouraged to make God the center of their family. Those who have previewed it are raving about the Christian message that will change lives! Tickets are in limited supply at http://lancerlegacy.eventbrite.com
- On October 22nd, we will be having a 5k/1mile fundraising event at Al Lopez Park at 8 a.m. This is a certified course and each participant will receive a t-shirt, catered breakfast and enjoy music by JOY FM and free massages. Awards will be given to best in each group and it promises to be a great day outside with the family getting fit and raising money for Cambridge Christian School.
- On January 28th is the last scheduled Lancer Legacy event of the school year. This is our very popular fashion show called Bonjour Mon Cherie! This is a great day for the ladies filled with a vendor fair, sit down lunch, fashion show and a wonderful speaker. This is a great way to fellowship with other ladies and shop to benefit Cambridge Christian School.
Our goal is to honor God first and foremost while assisting in the strengthening of the ministry at Cambridge Christian School through our fundraising and marketing efforts. Our door is always open to you. We welcome your prayers, time and generosity. These three things will help enhance the lives of all who are touched by their experience at Cambridge Christian School.
