What is Cambridge Christian Advancement
The Advancement Office works to further the mission of Cambridge Christian School in the education of each child. We do that through a vital partnership with our dedicated volunteers and through the generosity of our families, alumni and friends as we all work to give our time, talent and treasure.
It is volunteers and monetary support that continue to make the critical difference between a good and excellent educational opportunity for all enrolled at the Cambridge Christian School. If you have any questions or need additional information about any of these projects, please contact the Advancement Office at (813) 872-6744 ext. 271.
The Cambridge Christain Annual Fund
Annual Fund gifts help relieve the burden on tuition by assisting with the school’s daily needs such as salaries and program costs. Simply stated, the objective of the Annual Fund is to help maintain excellence in the education we offer, while keeping the cost of that education as affordable as possible.
Gifts to the Annual Fund can be undesignated, allowing the Headmaster and the Board of Trustees to allocate resources to the most critical areas of need, or designated, which allow donors the choice to focus the impact of annual gifts by designating them to one or more of the following:
• Classroom programs and supplies
• Athletic facilities leasing and competition costs
• Technological advancement and support
• Faculty and staff compensation
• The Fall Banquet & Auction, Phonathon and Golf Tournament Please contact the Advancement Office if you would like to be involved in any of these committees.
The “Cambridge Christian Builds” Capital Campaign
In Spring 2004 Cambridge Christian launched the phased construction of a new school at our current location to allow for the exciting growth of our program. The campus acreage has been expanded through the purchase of available property contiguous to our current location. This will enable the school to rebuild the aged buildings that have served us well for over 40 years, as well as to add new athletic fields and parking. Most importantly, this will allow the school to modestly increase its student population while maintaining our low teacher-student ratio.
Expansion of our current campus will further position Cambridge Christian as one of the top preparatory schools in the state by virtue of its size, state of the art facilities, and commitment to excellent Christian education. Remaining on the centrally located Habana Avenue campus, with future potential access to Armenia Avenue, will also enhance our accessibility to families living throughout Hillsborough County.

Cambridge Christian Builds: Why?
EXPANDED SITE:
Purchasing land contiguous to our current campus will provide space to build new state-of-the-art classroom facilities, athletic fields and expanded parking for our families, faculty, staff and students.
EXPANDED CURRICULUM AND PROGRAMS:
An expanded facility affords Cambridge Christian the opportunity to provide more program choices to a diverse student population.
INCREASED ENROLLMENT:
A larger facility will allow Cambridge Christian to meet market growth while maintaining small class sizes
ENHANCED FINE ARTS:
Our unparalleled student participation in the fine arts will be rewarded through exclusive-use facilities that will enable students to maximize their skill and interest levels unhindered by scheduling conflicts with other departments.
IMPROVED PARKING AND TRAFFIC FLOW:
Parents, faculty and students will be able to satisfy their parking needs unfettered by limited parking and overcrowded entranceways.
Most importantly, remaining on our centrally located campus and expanding our facilities will enable our school to successfully reach out to a vibrant growing community. The capitol major gifts program is designed to give everyone the opportunity to help Cambridge Christian fulfill its mission of developing tomorrow’s leaders within a Christ-centered environment.
Gifts can be pledged over a multi-year period. Common types of contributions include gifts of cash, stock, bonds, and other negotiable securities.
